Film & TV Production: 5 semesters (Beginning - Advanced III)

  • Produced, directed, and edited music videos, commercials, short films.

  • Directed 10 episodes of “Tusken Radio”, an award-winning  multicam studio talk show

  • Certified in studio production, truck production, single-camera (ENG) field production, and non-linear editing (DaVinci Resolve).

  • Successfully directed and worked crew (camera, replay) for 30 live multicam truck and studio productions.

Independent Study in Digital Filmmaking:  1 semester

  • Focused on producing, directing, shooting, and editing multiple advanced films

  • Film projects included silent film, cinematography reels, music videos, and demonstration videos.

  • Utilized more advanced production equipment and post-production skill sets

The Visual Word: 1 semester

  • Studied literature through filmmaking and films (analyzing books that were adapted to film, reading scripts)

  • Evaluated and presented a study of a single director's body of work

  • Studied lighting, cinematography, production design and editing

Radio/TV Arts: 1 semester

  • Developed basic skills for broadcasting and engineering in radio and audio podcasting

  • Studied video production and editing and produced multiple video projects

  • Successfully co-hosted and produced multiple short programs radio programs

Animation: 1 semester

  • Created 4 original stop-motion animation projects

  • Produced unique final project using advanced animation techniques

  • Assisted instructor with Flash animation tutorials for fellow students

Ceramics: 1 semester

  • Learned multiple techniques in forming clay by hand and with tools

  • Mastered the basic skills of using a potter's wheel

  • Produced 5 original pieces in multiple forms

Digital Photo Art: 1 semester

  • Developed proficiency in digital photography

  • Learned advanced composition on Photoshop and Lightroom

  • Produced multiple pieces of art that were entered into scholastics competition

Drawing & Painting: 1 semester

  • Learned organic forms and advanced shadowing in drawing

  • Developed knowledge of color theory and perspective in painting 

  • Produced 7 original pieces in multiple forms

Jewelry and Metalsmithing: 1 semester

  • Developed basic skills of sawing, drilling, and soldering metals to form cohesive pieces

  • Attained proficiency in wire manipulation and design, stone selection and placement

  • Created 10 original pieces of jewelry

Advanced Fashion & Design:  1 semester

  • Created more complex projects, from conceptualization through production

  • Studied store fronts and merchandising, created alternatives and new proposals

  • Analyzed and predicted fashion trends, created styling and design proposals

Eagle Scout 

  • Founding member of Troop 90 G chapter 

  • Ran troop as Senior Patrol Leader for 2 years 

  • Completed all needed requirements in Order of the Arrow reaching rank of Brotherhood
